SSN8 stair nosing has been designed for use on hard surface stairs, either indoor or outdoor.  The nosing can be fitted with four different styles of insert to suit various applications.  All inserts have been slip checked to AS 4586:2013.  SSN8 fully complies with the requirements of AS 1428.1-2009  
 Aluminium The SSN8 Stair nosing is extruded from 6063/T5 Alloy.  This architectural grade alloy offers good surface finish and superior corrosion resistance.
 
Anodising Aluminium profiles are anodised 15 – 20 microns in accordance with AS 1231:2000.  Available in, clear (silver) or black.
 
Inserts SSN8 is available with 4 different styles of anti slip insert. SSN8 can also be fitted with  

• PVC Anti Slip Strip (Black, Pewter, Apeo, Yellow, Red, Beige, Tan, Terracotta, Brown, Green & Blue)
• SCR Solid Strip with Silicon Carbide Grit  (Black & Yellow)
• Carborundum Anti Slip Tape  (Black, Grey, Yellow)
• SC12 Aluminium Ripple Trim  (Black & Clear (silver)

SSN6 Stair Nosing has been designed for both carpeted and hard surface stairs. The Aluminium base is anodised or powder coated. SSN6 can be fitted with 3 different types of anti slip inserts. All inserts have been checked to AS4586 – 2013.

Aluminium Our profiles are extruded from 6060/T5 Alloy; this can be interchanged with 6063/T5.  Both alloys are architectural grade with good surface finish and very good corrosion resistance.
 
Anodising Aluminium profiles are anodised 15 – 20 microns in accordance with AS 1231:2000.  The following finishes are available; Clear (Natural Silver) Gold (Summer Maize) and Bronze (Amber Gold)
 
Powder Coating (electrostatic powder spray) finishes are available in: Black or  Beige.  Custom anodising or powder coating is available on request.
 
Inserts SSN6 is available with 3 different styles of anti slip insert.

SSN4 stair nosing has been designed for use on hard surfaces and is also suitable for vinyl and commercial style carpets. The SSN4 profile can be fitted with PVC or Carborundum anti-slip tape. All inserts have been slip checked to AS 4586:2013
